What does the Marine Wrecks app do?
It’s a data management app designed to hold and organize information related to shipwrecks. It’s goal is to provide a way to store information, organize it, and retrieve it back with ease. It also has some other features like navigation, file transfer, and filtering that provide extra convenience.

What are the requirements of Marine Wrecks?
Marine Wrecks requires iOS 6.0. There are no other device restrictions besides this related to hardware.

Is there an iPad app?
No. Marine Wrecks is a universal app which means it’s configured to run for all iOS devices.

Is there an Android app?
At this point in time, no. We do however have plans to release an Android app targeted for Jelly Bean sometime in 2013.

Is there a Mac OS X app?
At this point in time, no. We do hope to release a Mac app for the next major release (10.9) if it incorporates MapKit functionality.

Usage and Features

How do I export my data?
Go to the Detail View and scroll to the bottom. After tapping the the Export Data button you should be able to e-mail yourself the data along with any attached pictures.

How do I import my data?
Open up any xml data on your iOS device and tap on it. You should see our icon come up after doing so. Once you have opened the data with our app, the data automatically import.

How do I navigate to points?
Go to the Detail View and scroll to the bottom. Here you can either pick the navigate via Maps or Compass option.
